The boil is back! The Third Annual Beltline Boil will take place on Saturday, April 2, 2016!
The Beltline Boil is a neighborhood festival on the Atlanta BeltLine’s Eastside Trail that focuses on the community’s vibrant live music and local eats! The featured event of the festival is a friendly Low Country Boil competition between local restaurants competing for a $5,000 prize to be donated to a charity of their choice!
Chefs from across Atlanta will face off to win the title as the best boil in town….and take home a check for $5,000 for the charity of their choice! In 2014, Bantam Pub took home the title and won the top prize on behalf of Operation P.E.A.C.E. The Nook on Piedmont Park was top dog in 2015, and scored the charity check for Safehouse Outreach! Who will compete in 2016? Check back for a list of this year’s competing restaurants coming soon!
The Beltline Boil takes place in the meadow at the Old Fourth Ward Skate Park on the Atlanta BeltLine’s Eastside Trail! The Atlanta BeltLine connects Midtown, Poncey-Highlands, Historic Fourth Ward and Inman Park – all within 3 – 20 minutes walking distance to The Beltline Boil. While we encourage our attendees to ride, walk or run to the festival, for those driving from further away, we encourage you to utilize private lots or public parking in areas that have access to the Eastside Trail.
